Kit Harrington and Richard Madden, from “Game of Thrones”, who play the brothers Jon Snow and Robb Stark in the series, praised the beauty of the Brazilians during an interview with journalists in Rio de Janeiro on Friday morning. The British landed in the city on Thursday night to publicize the new season of the series based on George RR Martin’s books and, despite the short stay, have already been harassed by fans.

Kit Harington, who lives Ned Stark’s bastard son, told UOL what a woman needs to have a chance with him. “The queen of my ‘real’ life needs to be funny. The brazilians definitely have a chance with me. I’m loving Brazil,” he said. Richard Madden, who plays one of Westeros’ throne candidates, Robb Stark, was shy, but observant. “I can’t answer that kind of question. You’re embarrassing me like that. But, yes, the Brazilian women are beautiful,” he assured, with pink cheeks, melting into compliments to Rio.

The duo have already met some bars and made a walk along the edge of the city. “We arrived last night, so we didn’t have much time to see. But it’s all very beautiful,” said Kit. Richard seemed enthusiastic about the Rio de Janeiro’s night. “Yesterday I went to some bars and I intend to do it again today. So, it may be that the fans bump into me. I took a short walk and, as I am under the time zone, I watched the dawn. The sun rising on the beach is beautiful.” said Madden, who is staying with Harington at a hotel on Copacabana Beach.

Life guaranteed in season two

The second season of “Game of Thrones” began airing on April 1st simultaneously in the United States and Latin America through the HBO paid channel – in Brazil, the show airs on Sundays at 10pm.

About the plot, which does not spare the lives of main characters, the actors guarantee to be safe and promise long life to the fans. “The cool thing about the plot is just that. No one is sure. As soon as the script arrives, it’s important to run to read it all so that you can breathe a sigh of relief,” said 25-year-old Harington, a newcomer to TV shows.

Slender and of medium height, Kit has the role of one of the best fighters of the series and tells that he trains a lot to do the scenes of fight, with costume and heavy swords. “As it is a very intense exercise, I do a physical preparation because I have to be with the muscles in day,” he said.

Madden said he is “totally safe” in season two. “This gives some relief. But Robb’s life is at great risk because the war is not going to be easy and he conflicts with his mother over various kinds of decisions,” said the actor, who declined to advance the plot any further. “I’m not going to give spoilers. You need to stay tuned in the series. I’m going to start reading the third book now. I want to read along with the season.” he said.
